Moving to Calvert County was one of the best decisions I ever made.  It is within commuting distance to Washington, DC (we are about 50 minutes South), but  it is still rural enough to have farm tractors driving down the road during rush hour.   Calvert County has fantastic "blue ribbon" schools as well! This photo was taken in my neighborhood, at sunset, on a warm Spring evening in April.

... bring Spring flowers!  Spring in our Nations Capital is absolutely gorgeous, although it does not take long for the Spring weather to come and go, and the hot D.C. Summer to arrive!  Enjoy it while you can!  Photo taken at Smithsonian Flower Garden, Southwest D.C.
